FIRST LADY KIM Y. JOHNSON
KIM Y. JOHNSON is a native of Washington D.C. She is the wife of Bishop Jason L. Johnson, founder of Abundant Life Evangelistic Church. First Lady Kim has two wonderful children which she is so proud of: Kashay & Justin, a son-in-law, Brian Newton, daughter-in-law, Icesis Johnson, her seven grandchildren: Jade, Jordan, Jaden, Bryson, Karter, Leah & Bria.
Her earliest training in ministry was at the Little Rock Bible Way Church under the leadership of Bishop A.L. Pressley, and other Pentecostal pioneers. In December 1983, she accepted the Lord as her Savior and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Kim immediately began to work for the Lord in the music department, where she served as choir director and choir president. She was active in all areas of her local church until she relocated to join her husband in 1986. At that time, she began to grow with her husband in ministry.
First Lady Kim is the Co-founder of ALEC and works very closely with Bishop Johnson. She has a heart of love for God’s people and she has a special anointing to minister to broken people and the youth. She is a Woman called by God. She is a licensed Elder, who has been preaching and bringing forth God’s Word for some time now. First Lady Kim has participated and facilitated at various conferences. She currently oversees the Women Ministry at Abundant Life Church (Biloxi & Gulfport) and New Beginning Ministry. She cherishes her call in bringing forth the uncompromising Word of God and shows the gift of love. Her life has blessed many with these profound truths. She says “Holiness Is Always the Way.” She believes it with all her heart.
Lady Kim is formerly employed as a Civil Service Employee. She’s now retired as a Training Technician at Keesler AFB in Biloxi Mississippi, and has over 30 years of experience as a government employee.
First Lady Kim ministry training consists of Jericho Christian College, Zoe Leadership Courses, and Berean Bible College. She serves as a co-laborer with Bishop Jason L. Johnson, singing, preaching and teaching together. This team loves each other, loves the Lord, and God’s people. They are visionaries with a vision to “win the lost at any cost.” Bringing life to the city.
